About Us
With our health care industry in crisis and quality of care issues at the forefront of national debates, it is essential that regional groups take the initiative to improve and change the way health care is delivered in their areas. As a response, the Healthcare Quality Coalition of Colorado (HQCC) was founded.
The purpose of the HQCC organization is to bring together a variety of health care professionals including nurses, doctors, administrators, health plan representatives and others directly or indirectly involved in health care quality. HQCC is dedicated to improving the quality of health care delivered to patients in Colorado through the sharing of information, providing continuing educational opportunities for our members and providing a forum for members to network and learn from other health care professionals.
Officially incorporated on December 30, 2004, HQCC became the authorized Colorado Chapter of the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in March 2005.
