Become a Member 
As of March 2008, there are more than 50 members, 98% with active membership status and 2% with associate membership status. More than 27% are also current members of National Association for Healthcare Quality.
Active Membership
Active membership status is for individual whose substantial responsibility includes, but are not limited to, Quality Management (QM), Risk Management (RM), Utilization Management (UM), Infection Control (IC), Patient Safety and Discharge Planning in any Colorado health care company. Active members receive voting privileges.
Associate Membership
Associate membership status is for those individuals who have an interest in, but no direct responsibility for QM, UM and/or other related activities. Associate Members may participate on committees, in any capacity other than Committee Chair. Associate Members may nominate Active Members for Association Office, but are not granted voting privileges. Associate membership is $40 per year.
Current membership is comprised of individuals that work at acute care and rehabilitation hospitals, with insurance providers, and in behavior health. They work in the areas of quality management, risk management, infection control, data analysis, project management, and organization operations as vice presidents, directors, administrators, managers, coordinators and analysts.
20% of the members are certified as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). The granting of CPHQ status recognizes professional and academic achievement by individuals in the field of healthcare quality management.

Membership dues
- Active membership is $50 per year.
